New Beginnings Family Academy, along with friends at Whole Foods Market and funder Whole Kids Foundation, have teamed up to share some delicious recipes that promote nutrition, wellness, and fun collaboration in the kitchen.
“We hope you enjoy trying these monthly recipes that support healthy eating,” said NBFA Director and CEO Ronelle Swagerty. “This is a great way for friends and family to make smart food choices together.”

Tips From Chef Todd:
NBFA Chef and Food Service Supervisor Todd Daigle in the renovated NBFA kitchen.
Each month, NBFA Chef and Food Service Supervisor Todd Daigle will provide healthy tips on the recipe to give more options for taste or dietary restrictions.
- Want to Add Another Vegetable? Include white onion or red onion.
- Don't Have a Grill? You can create an aluminum foil pouch and cook these in an oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for around 15 to 20 minutes.
We encourage you to share your experiences making the Recipe of the Month. Please share photos, videos, and suggestions on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @NBFAcademy.
